Matt came to ACM in June 2010 as a summer Graduate Intern.  He is halfway through a Masters of Science in Education from Northwestern’s Higher Education Administration and Policy program.  Previously, he worked as an Academic Advisor at the University of Oregon and started his own tutoring business.  He was brought on to ACM for the summer for his expertise in written communication.

Matt has earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of California, Davis.  He has published several short stories and had one full-length play produced.  Additionally he has worked as a composition instructor and a freelance editor.

He enjoys writing and reading and experimenting in the kitchen when he can find the time.
