I think the best part of the Chicago Programs was that I was not only encouraged to explore the city, but it was integral to the curriculum. Whether it’s seeing a place, visiting a neighborhood, or exploring a park, everything was rooted in getting out and seeing the city. While the speakers and readings provided context and really hammered down the lessons learned from these experiences, the level of direct interaction with the city was the program’s greatest strength.
