ACM India, Summer 2010

Students participating in the ACM summer program in India spend much of their time doing service learning work.  Students  have the option of being in the city of Pune, or spending most of the program in the rural Melghat region.

“A great way to break the ice with the kids in Melghat was to play Duck-Duck-Goose with them.  They didn’t know the game and we had a great time teaching it to them.  Almost every interaction when we visited a new village began with Duck-Duck-Goose.”
