“The Golden Temple in Amritsar attracts people from all over the world. The temple complex houses a dining hall that serves meals prepared, served, and cleaned by volunteers to over 60,000 visitors a day. They continue this free dining experience to encourage equality and community amongst people of all beliefs and to celebrate the Sikh faith. I snapped this picture just as the sun was setting on the inner square, catching a Sikh guard on his rounds and capturing the timelessness of this tranquil square.”
