ACM India, Fall 2009
The rickshaw is a staple of transportation in the cities of India. The traditional bicycle rickshaws (which are still plentiful) have evlolved into motorized rickshaws, zipping along and weaving their way in and out of traffic as people traverse the city streets. This photograph is a line of rickshaw drivers, waiting for passers-by to flag them down, just down the street from the ACM India office in Pune. This often-busy road was a bit more quiet when the photo was taken.
