Starting in spring 2011, the ACM Chicago Programs will offer a Spring Trimester Option for students to participate in any of the program’s three tracks: Urban Studies, Chicago Arts, and Business, Entrepreneurship, & Society (BES).
This new calendar is specifically designed for students from colleges on trimester/term or block schedules.

The ten-week schedule, from mid-March to mid-May, will include the following academic components:
- The interdisciplinary Core Course, an introduction to the city, its neighborhoods, and urban issues;
- A program-specific Seminar in which students explore a topic through readings, field trips, and guest lectures; and
- The choice of either an Internship with a business, not-for-profit, or governmental organization, or a guided Independent Study Project on a topic selected by the student.
The Chicago Programs Spring Trimester Option will have different pricing and credit than the regular semester programs. For complete details, see the Chicago Programs website.
