Students and staff of the Chicago Program pose outside the historic Chicago Theatre.  Built in 1921, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and desginated a Chicago Landmark, the Chicago Theatre is an euduring symbol of the city.  The Chicago Program office and classrooms are located directly adjacent to the theatre, in the heart of downtown Chicago’s “Loop.”  It’s a perfect spot from which to explore the city, with multiple bus and “El” subway lines spreading out to every neighborhood.  Students participating in the program immerse themselves in the city for the duration of the semester, through internships, field trips, and involvement with a wide variety of organizations.
