ACM Service Learning Program in Mexico City, Summer 2010
“I took this photo of the Bellas Artes performing arts building while on a Turibus tour of Mexico City. We later went inside this historic building to see murals painted by Orozco and Siqueiros. I was impressed by how solid and gorgeous the building is amidst the hustle and bustle of Mexico City. It is located just blocks from the Zocalo – the center of the city where the government buildings are located – and is surrounded by busy streets, but the area around the building is a nice plaza where people gather and sit.”
