Tune in this Friday for Botswana: Big Villages, Small Cities, a webinar featuring Stephen Volz, Associate Professor of History at Kenyon College.
In his talk about cities as vehicles for social change in southern Africa, Professor Volz will draw on his extensive experience living and conducting research in southern Africa, beginning when he was a Peace Corps volunteer in Botswana.
In spring 2017, Professor Volz will serve as visiting faculty director of the ACM Botswana: Development in Southern Africa program, where he will teach a course on urbanization in Africa.
Webinar attendees will have opportunities to ask Professor Volz questions about his talk as well as the ACM Botswana program.
