Living in a University of Botswana residence hall and taking classes with local students, as well as eating on campus and in nearby restaurants, provide ways for ACM students to meet people and make friends. While adjusting to the new environment and settling in may take some time, it’s a challenge worth taking.
“I always reach the end of the day and think ‘OK, I’m making it,'” said Hannah Lundberg from Grinnell College. “I’ve had good day and I’ve learned a lot about myself and about Botswana and about everything in general.”
