A semester in Italy with the Florence Program has led to a new research subject for Ripon College music professor Sarah Kraaz. She presented results from that research with “Music for the Queen of Heaven in 15th Century Italian Paintings” at the Southeast College Art Conference this month in Sarasota, FL. As a Visiting Affiliated Scholar with the Florence Program in 2012, Kraaz (photo at right) began a collaboration with art history instructor Dr. Gail Solberg, and she will again serve as the program’s Visiting Affiliated Scholar in fall 2016.
