Hiring and Diversity Workshop, ACM Fellows Program

Hiring and Diversity Workshops gather staff and faculty from across the ACM to better understand the complex barriers that underrepresented faculty experience in the academy. This meeting will focus on “retention as recruitment” best practices and policies. Sessions throughout the day will highlight ways in which colleges can implement an Equity Literacy framework to strengthen the institution’s policies and procedures to positively impact the college’s diversity and inclusion efforts.  

The Hiring and Diversity Workshops are sponsored by the Undergraduate and Faculty Fellows Program for a Diverse Professoriate, funded by a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
