Opportunity for a Recent ACM Graduate to Teach English in Costa Rica

Due to ACM’s longstanding off-campus study programs in Costa Rica, a position teaching English at the University of Costa Rica (UCR) is offered exclusively each year to recent graduates of ACM colleges.

The one-year position is with the English Department in the university’s School of Modern Languages on the UCR campus in San José, the nation’s capital. Responsibilities include teaching basic and intermediate English classes for up to 25 hours per week, plus teaching an additional course in conversational English for extra income.

The position will run from mid-January to mid-December, 2018, with a two-week break between semesters in July.

Recent graduates of ACM colleges with majors in Spanish or English as a Second Language (ESL) and teaching experience are eligible to apply for the position. The application deadline is June 2017.
